MANCARDI²
Mancardi² is above all a couple of artists who draws its force in their complicity and their complementarity.
The first artistic impulse was made through Jean-Jacques Mancardi who, in addition to his career of blacksmith and member of the Companions, began to carry out sculptures out of steel, out of wood and finally out of marble with which he gained several prices.
At the same time, Christine also became interested in marble sculpture and developed an undeniable talent.
The couple then gradually converted to bronze working together and created the Workers and Graffiti artists series. One to pay homage to the builders who construct our cities, the other for the artists who color our lives.
They are represented in several galleries in France (Lille, Honfleur, Megève, Lourmarin...) and their sculptures have been sold in several European countries.
Technique: bronze, spray painting, posca.
